SPAIN
1.     la Valle, Gracia: burned in Saragossa. First execution of a witch in Spain, in 1498.
·       An unknown number executed in Spain in 1499.
·       3 women were executed in Spain circa 1500.
·       30 burned in Calahorra, Spain, in 1507
·       2 women executed in Spain circa 1512.
·       “A large number” executed at Saragossa, Spain, in 1536
·       30,000 (approx) burned by the Inquisition (not all may have been witches)
